This can be seen in the MyPlayer manner of this 2k21 demo

RELEASE TIMING - Similar to nba 2k21 mt coins what we have observed in 2k20 and years past. You imagine the stick and release it in the ideal time to have a perfect release. There's other increments of shots (slightly early, somewhat late and all that)

STICK ORIENTATION - If you play with 2KU or some Quick Game in the 2k21 demonstration, you'll see this scheme. It's just about you holding the pro rod down and then transferring it slightly left or right with the aim being to get the shot in the coloured portion of the shot meter. You are effectively lining up your shot. When you release the stick doesn't make a difference. In reality you can hold it down the entire time (odd to hear, I understand, for people who were using the pro stick in years previous). All that is graded within this scheme is the way well defended you were if your shot was too much left, too far , or centered. This has been my favorite way to play so far. I feel like real-life gamers care less about once they release and more about lining their own shot. Finally this new scheme makes the game feel so much more fluid in my view.

STICK ORIENTATION + SHOT RELEASE: This could be understood in the MyPlayer mode of the 2k21 demo. This manner is difficult! I imagine this strategy may be used for ace 2k championships as a means of creating a bigger skill gap? Maybe? I'm not sure but it's fairly difficult to master. You need to release the ball at the right time as well as line the shot up in the same time. I believe a previous 2k used this strategy before but this time it feels a whole lot more delicate. In my experience MyLeague in 2k21 is Busted

If you only play MyLeague and don't plan on upgrading to some next-gen console, 2K20 for $5 appears to be a fantastic thing. I left a nice construct balance for my play style to where I can play on and off ball with the principal slasher second so shooting pie chart like a tmac kinda. Wow they destroyed my build and it wasn't even popular or OP. The vert is randomly 3 higher but speed and Agi are reduced and worst of all the Str is default like 8 lower without fostering weight 20-30 lbs. Strangely the standing dip rating is way higher than last year. Rlly sucks I can not he a dominant Rodman kind without going 6'8 or higher.

Edit: I'll upload screenshots later but wow. Same exact build vs 2k20 and it has far lower bodily attributes, terrible defensive ratings and rebounding ratings but for the perimeter d. The weird thing is it has like 3 or 4 finishing badges and 21 higher status dip? Wtf is going on. . .im rlly glad for the standing dunk boost cuz I always thought it's dumb I have a 99 vert but seldom leap in the paint but wow I can't believe the way they trashed the undersized pure crimson's defense and buy Nba 2k21 Mt rebounding.
