season got the attention of Yankees scouts

After a tumultuous filled 3 seasons with the New York Yankees, former wildcat Rob Refsnyder has been traded to the Toronto Blue Jays. He will look to make a major impact with his new team. Rob Refsynder was once a major impact player during his time at Arizona , where he was an outstanding baseball player. During his junior season, Rob would bat .352. He would also finish the season as the team leader in HR 6 . That season, Arizona baseball would go on to win the College World Series, where Refsnyder would wind up winning the CWS Most Outstanding Player award, putting his name up there forever along with some of the all time greats. After his season, he would enter the 2012 MLB Draft. In that draft the New York Yankees drafted him in the 5th round, a high honor indeed. He quickly rose throughout the Yankees farm system, eventually becoming one of the Yankees top prospects. In 2014, he split time between Trenton AA, and Scranton/Wilkes Barre, this would be the best season of Refsnyder’s career to date. Batting .318 with 14 homers and 63 RBI’s. This season got the attention of Yankees scouts, as the next season he would find his way to big league club, playing in 16 games with a .302 BA. He has spent time the past 3 years between the New York Yankees Joe Biagini Jersey and their AAA affiliate. Refsnyder has only played 20 games with the Yankees in the 2017 season, and the recent acquisition of Todd Frazier made him expendable. Refsnyder will get a new start with the Blue Jays, who currently have only 3 players splitting time between his main positions at 2B and 3B. Josh Donaldson is a prime candidate to be traded in the coming week, and with mainstays Ryan Goins and Darwin Barney as back ups, the Blue Jays desperately needed something to look forward to. They may have found it in Rob Refsnyder.
